PIF member the Self Care Forum has published a new self care aware factsheet on strep A and scarlet fever.
The factsheet was commissioned by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS).
It is designed to help support community pharmacy teams in educating customers about the signs, symptoms and care of strep A and scarlet fever,.
The factsheet is freely available for anyone to use. It is broken into three main sections:
- What are strep A and scarlet fever?
- What can I expect when someone is infected?
- What should I do if I suspect strep A or scarlet fever?
