The Richmond Group of Charities’ physical activity coalition, Movement for All, has developed a new video series for people living with multiple long term health conditions.

The Make Your Move series has been specially designed for people who may experience symptoms such as fatigue, pain, stiffness and low mood.

Movement for All is a collaborative approach to increasing physical activity in partnership with Sport England, Activity Alliance and PIF member Mind.

Movement for All

The Movement for All project has so far focused on four key areas:

  • Exploring opportunities to create simple measures which encourage physical activity
  • Promoting support offers and resources which help improve knowledge of physical activity for health and care professionals
  • Encouraging physical activity, sport and leisure providers and facilities to ensure their offer is as inclusive as possible
  • Helping volunteers to be more active and in turn encourage others to move more

Movement for All is helping deliver projects supporting people with long term conditions to be more active and providing physical activity opportunities and support.

Funding has been awarded to several charities, including PIF members Alzheimer's Society, Breast Cancer Now, Diabetes UK, MS Society and Stroke Association, to deliver these projects.
