Researchers from the University of Keele will develop the intervention based on patients’ own experiences with long-term pain as well as advice from pharmacists and GPs.
Funded by the National Institute for Health Research, the clinical review will use a range of methods to find out about patients’, pharmacists’ and GPs’ experiences and views on the use of opioids for long-term pain.
