The Patient Information Forum is delighted to announce that Dan Wills will be leading the launch of our new quality mark for health information.

Dan is an assessment and development manager with a passion for health information.

With more than a decade of experience working with charities and the NHS, he has built up a great understanding of the issues they face and the importance of high-quality patient information.

His background in training, means Dan loves to share knowledge and help others develop.

Dan recently supported PIF with our quality mark pilot and now joins the team to launch the scheme.

He hopes he will be able to support PIF members in getting recognition for the work and commitment they put into patient information and help improve their processes along the way.

Head of strategy and partnership Sophie Randall said: "PIF is delighted Dan Wills is joining us to manage the quality mark scheme.

"Dan’s expertise and supportive advice will be familiar to members who were assessed under the old Information Standard.

"Dan brings years of experience and lots new ideas and we are confident he is the right person to lead a new scheme flexible enough to work across sectors in the digital age."
