PIF member Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust has published a new information resource on LLETZ treatment for cervical cell changes.

Last year's Not So Simple report found many women and people with a cervix who had LLETZ felt uninformed about the procedure and unprepared for potential side effects.

Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust has worked in partnership with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists to produce a comprehensive guide to the procedure.

It includes the benefits, follow up and where to get support to deal with side effects such as bleeding and pain.

Cervical screening video

Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust has also produced a new video for women and people with a cervix who are invited to cervical screening.

It shows what it is like to arrive at a GP surgery for a cervical screening appointment.

The video aims to reassure patients that, if they have been invited to attend, it is safe to do so.

The video, which includes subtitles, can be downloaded here.
