Get Online Week, run by the Good Things Foundation, runs 14-20 October.

Around 5.3 million people in the UK have never been online according to the Good Things Foundation. There are 11.9 million people who don’t have the essential digital skills to navigate life and work.

With digital access a key part of the NHS Long Term Plan, it is vital digital literacy is improved.

Next week, partners, volunteers and communities will come together in a bid to make sure everyone can take part in the digital world.

More than 900 people and organisations have already registered to hold events.

The website also includes resources for organisers and supporters and a map of planned events.
