The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) has published an updated version of its guide to working with patients and patient organisations.
Working with patients and patient organisations: A sourcebook for industry aims to help pharmaceutical companies, patients and patient organisations work together to improve public health.
This version reflects changes in the 2021 edition of the ABPI Code of Practice.
The main changes include:
- Updates to reflect the change in clause numbers referred to in the latest Code of Practice
- Updates to reflect the expanded partnership approach to include ‘collaborative working’
- A new reference to social media
- Additional sources of information to support working together
