According to the Lloyds Bank Consumer Digital Index 2022, those who are offline reported the NHS as the most difficult service to interact with due to not using the internet
By May 2022, more than a third of people had already reported that the rising cost of living was impacting their ability to go online.
We are urging our members to highlight the impacts of digital exclusion on health in the current Communications and Digital Committee inquiry.
In particular, questions 1 and 2 on the impact of digital exclusion and the long-term implications of the relationship between digital exclusion and the cost-of-living crisis.
Written submissions are being accepted until 7 March.
