PIF works on partnership projects in pursuit of our vision to ensure everyone has access to trusted health information to make informed decisions about health, wellbeing and care. Shared Decision Making with NICE and PRSB
PIF has been involved with long running projects with our partners NICE and the Professional Records Standards Body to support shared decision-making. Both projects embark on new phases in 2022.
Health and digital literacy and the Notts NHS App
PIF has been working on a long term project with Connected Nottinghamshire to embed health and digital literacy in care plans within the Notts NHS App.
Making shared decision making a reality
PIF and The Patients Association are collaborating with NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire on a shared decision making project in musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions.
Explaining the role of patient data in guidance
Since May 2021, PIF has been part of a community of practice led by Understanding Patient Data (UPD) aiming to explain how data is used to inform health information guidance.
