Entries are now open for the Quality in Care (QiC) Diabetes Awards – recognising innovative initiatives which improve the lives of people living with diabetes. The awards recognise, reward and share innovative practice demonstrating quality in diabetes management, education and services for people with diabetes and their families.
QiC Diabetes is partnered with Sanofi and supported by PIF members the Diabetes Research & Wellness Foundation (DRWF) and Diabetes UK, alongside other diabetes organisations. A Quality in Care award means an initiative has been recognised by the NHS, patients and industry.
The entry deadline is midnight on 11 July 2025. Applications are accepted from anyone working in the diabetes community. This includes in a health service, for a patient group, in the voluntary sector, industry and people with diabetes. Entries are reviewed by a panel of experts from the particular therapy area.
Projects active between January 2023 and July 2025 can enter. All entries must be able to demonstrate the difference they have made.
A shortlist of nominees for each category is collated before an awards ceremony, with the winners announced on the night. Following the awards, QiC Diabetes provides a platform to share the award winning case studies across the NHS and other organisations involved in patient care.
More information about the awards and how to enter can be found on the QiC Diabetes website here.
