Three new pharma partners join PIF's cross-sector community

GSK, Novartis UK and Johnson & Johnson share what it means to be PIF partner.

PIF is delighted to announce three new pharma partners. GSK, Novartis UK and Johnson & Johnson have all joined forces with PIF to work together to improve access to trusted health information. The new partners have become part of PIF's vibrant cross-sector community of more than 300 organisations that produce and provide health information and support.

The three pharmaceutical companies have shared what it means to them to be a PIF partner.

Elevating standards

Katy Leonard, Patient Advocacy Lead Manager at GSK, said: "At GSK, we are passionate about enhancing patient advocacy, and partnering with PIF marks a significant step forward in our journey to provide accessible and reliable health information to the patient community. Being a PIF partner means that we can work together to elevate the standards of patient information and support. We believe that informed patients are empowered patients, and through this partnership, we aim to ensure that patients have access to the best possible health information."

Tajinder Tiwana, Patient Advocacy Lead at Novartis UK, said: “Novartis UK is proud to be a corporate partner of the Patient Information Forum (PIF). Through this collaboration, we are reinforcing our commitment to health literacy and equitable access to trusted health information. PIF set a vital standard for quality, and by aligning with it, we aim to empower patients – especially those from underserved communities – with the information they need to make informed decisions about their health. This partnership is a meaningful step in our journey to build trust, reduce health inequalities, and support better outcomes for all.”

A Johnson & Johnson spokesperson added: "Johnson & Johnson is pleased to acknowledge our ongoing partnership with PIF. PIF provides exceptional and invaluable resources to support the patient community. This collaboration reflects our continued commitment to the Johnson & Johnson Credo and core principles of integrity, innovation, and care. We are honoured to be part of a journey that closely aligns with these values."

Cross-sector collaboration

PIF Director Sophie Randall said: "We are delighted to welcome new members to our partnership network. They enrich the cross-sector collaboration between PIF members and support our vision for everyone to have access to personalised health information to make informed decisions about their health, wellbeing and care."
