PIF is supporting The King's Fund in-person conference, Moving care closer to home, this September. The conference will take place on Thursday, 26 September, at The King's Fund, London.

Following The King’s Fund’s report earlier this year, this conference will explore actions to strengthen primary and community care, moving away from a hospital-centric system. Through presentations, panel discussions and case studies, speakers will share success stories of impactful changes. Key topics include:

  • The role of secondary prevention and its adequacy within the current health care landscape.
  • The interplay between primary and secondary care and its impact on facilitating or impeding the shift towards community-based care.
  • Insights from leaders in geographical or clinical areas where a successful shift of focus has occurred and the associated benefits,
  • Financial aspects and strategies for funding the transition to care closer to home.

The conference is held in partnership with Roche Diagnostics UK and Ireland.
