Applications open for 2026 GSK IMPACT Awards

Charities invited to apply for 2026 GSK IMPACT Awards and GSK Community Health Programme.

Applications are now open for the 2026 GSK IMPACT Awards and GSK Community Health programme. The awards are funded by PIF partner GSK and managed in partnership with PIF member The King’s Fund. The IMPACT Awards are open to registered charities that are at least three years’ old, working in a health-related field in the UK and with income between £150,000 and £3million. The community health programme supports small charities tackling health inequalities in their communities that are at least a year old with income between £20,000 and £150,000.

The GSK IMPACT Awards

Up to ten winners will receive £40,000 in unrestricted funding, with the overall winner receiving an additional £10,000. Up to five runners-up receive £4,000 in unrestricted funding. Award winners are also offered free training and development valued at an average of £13,500 each. Winning organisations will have a professional film made about their work and receive support with press and publicity.

GSK and The King’s Fund encourage organisations to apply that are led by and support people from under-represented backgrounds, people from ethnic minority communities, people with disabilities and people from the LGBTQ+ community. The deadline for stage one applications is 5pm on Wednesday, 20 August, 2025. Judging will take place in January 2026.

The GSK Community Health programme

The GSK Community Health programme is designed to run alongside the GSK IMPACT Awards and supports small charities tackling health inequalities in their communities. The programme will see up to 10 charities receiving up to £10,000 plus access to training and development valued at £5,000. Charities offered funding will be invited to attend an online leadership programme delivered by The King’s Fund.

Entrants must be able to demonstrate how they are tackling health inequalities in their community. This can be defined as a geographical community or a community of interest. They should share information about the work carried out across the charity, rather than focusing on one particular project. The deadline for applications is 5pm on Monday, 11 August, 2025. Decisions will be made by mid-October.
