E-learning: PIF TICK Competent Badge for freelancers

At the end of the training you will:

Have an increased knowledge of the PIF TICK criteria.
Understand the priorities of PIF TICK certified organisations.
Be aware of key PIF guidance on plain language, risk communication, user involvement and evidence sources.

This course was developed because freelancers who do not publish their own resources are unable to apply for the full PIF TICK. Achieving the PIF TICK Competent Badge allows you to demonstrate your knowledge of, and commitment to, the PIF TICK criteria.

The course has two modules and includes video training, supporting materials and a short competency test. You must also sign a commitment to follow core PIF guidance.

Once you have completed the test you receive the PIF TICK competent badge. This can be used for one year on promotional materials, emails etc. You will also be added to our list of PIF TICK competent freelancers. The PIF TICK competent badge cannot be used on client materials. After one year, you will be asked to complete a short re-assessment to ensure your continued knowledge of, and commitment to, PIF guidance.

If you are already an individual PIF member, the cost of the training is £75. Your annual membership will then be £200 (inc VAT) every year you remain in the scheme.

If you are not already a PIF member, you will pay £200 (inc VAT) immediately. This includes the PIF TICK Competent Badge training and full PIF membership and is an annual payment.
