The PIF TICK opened to new members from 13 May 2020.

Dan Wills, PIF’s Quality Manager, will introduce the scheme and two of the first organisations to be certified to use the PIF TICK shared their experience of the pilot scheme.

Dan Wills, Quality Manager Patient Information Forum, gave an overview of the PIF TICK, criteria and assessment process.

Tom Bishop, Senior Patient Services and Information Manager, Anthony Nolan, discussed why the charity was one on the first to join the pilot and why a quality mark for health information is important to the public.

Elena Fabbrani, Policy and Patient Information Manager, Royal College of Anaesthetists, shared her experience of the assessment and certification process and the benefits for the information production team.
