Is oncology care in the UK equitable?

Our latest partnership webinar with IPSOS exploring experiences of oncology care in the UK.

Is oncology care in the UK equitable? This is the question IPSOS set out to answer in a self-funded piece of research.

The work cites primary research findings, as well as calling upon secondary sources of data and the work of IPSOS’ patient advocacy partners: Tenovus Cancer Care and Strive for five.

Key topics:

  • What does equitable care really mean? How does this link to person and patient centric care provision?
  • Is the NHS set up to fail in the provision of person centric care? How does this impact the delivery of equitable oncology care in the UK?
  • What is the patient experience? Hear accounts of the lived experiences of oncology care from patients, highlighting how and for whom these experiences can differ.
  • View from the experts in policy and advocacy – the steps to begin to mitigate some of the challenges uncovered
