NHS England and Ipsos have published the GP Patient Survey 2024 results. The survey was completed by almost 700,000 patients from January to March. Two major changes have been made to this year's survey. The questionnaire has been updated the methodology has changed to an "online first" approach. These changes mean the 2024 results are not comparable with previous years and trend data is not presented alongside this year's results as usual.

Around half of patients find it easy to contact someone on the phone at their GP practice or by using the website. Around 4 in 10 found it easy to contact their GP practice using the NHS App. When patients last tried to contact their practice:
Almost 9 in 10 patients reported using at least one of the listed pharmacy services in the last 12 months. More than 8 in 10 of those had a good experience. From the list provided, the most frequently used service was to pick up a prescription. Getting advice, for example about prescription medicines, a health issue or other health services, was the third most used service.
