About me
With over 18 years’ experience of producing health information for the charity sector, I’m passionate about providing evidence-based, accessible information to consumers. I offer freelance health information services, including:
- writing, editing and proof-reading for digital, audio-visual and print publication
- advising on best practice
- developing strategy
- managing projects.
Skills and experience
For the last 7 years, I have been providing freelance health information services to organisations such as Bowel Cancer UK, Prostate Cancer UK, Marie Curie, Tommy's and the NHS. Projects have included:
- Producing accessible, evidence-based content
- Researching and writing new digital and print content
- Updating existing resources
- Proof-reading and editing reports
- Producing online videos
- Advising on best practice for health information production.

I am a volunteer appraiser for the BMA PLG patient information awards.
